Located 5 miles north of San Pedro Town on Ambergris Caye in the Central American - Caribbean nation of Belize is the YWAM Destination Paradise Caribbean Base. The 2.5 acre property is located right on a beautiful white sand beach overlooking the 2nd longest barrier reef system in the world. The setting is ideal for students to come and immerse themselves in all that the various schools have to offer, to get equipped and prepared for serving in missions, to gain understanding in the ways of God and each one's place in His plan and His will and to have a great time in the process.

The YWAM DP Caribbean Base is home to the Divers DTS where students develop leadership skills, grow in the knowledge of God and get equipped to make Him known. As part of the course, students learn skills in scuba diving, receiving up to two levels of PADI dive certification as part of the DTS and having plenty of opportunity to dive throughout the school.

The YWAM DP Caribbean base also hosts a number of University of the Nations secondary schools such as the SOMD (School of Ministry Development) where students take what they learned in DTS to the next level or the SBF (School of Biblical Foundations) where DTS grads dive deeply into God's Word or the SOW (School of Worship) where students examine the depth, detail and practical application of worshipping God in all areas of life including through music.
