Internship Phase
Following the Outreach, each YWAM Destination Paradise DTS student
will embark on a 16 week internship experience.
During this third phase of the program, students
will work and learn with a different Christian Ministry - an adventure
that could take them anywhere in the world!
Internship placements and locations will be chosen during the
lecture phase with much prayer and consideration, by students,
staff, leaders and internship mentors. The internship possibilities
are endless and could include working with:
- YWAM Bases
- Major Christian Ministries
- Worldwide Missions Organizations
- Churches
- Christian Run Businesses
- Other Christian Organizations
The purpose of the Internship Phase is to continue to put to
use the principles and themes encountered during their lecture
and outreach phases in settings that will allow the students to grow and develop even further. Although there
is interaction with Destination Paradise during the internship
phase, students are much more "on their own" as they work through
various scenarios, challenges, and situations as part
of another team within the Body of Christ.
